Milan, March 18, 2026 – Benefit Corporations in Italy reached 5,540 at the end of 2025, marking a growth of over 20% compared to the previous year. Among large companies, they account for 2.2% of the total registered firms. These are the latest findings from the 2026 National Research on Benefit Corporations, carried out by NATIVA, the Intesa Sanpaolo Research Department, InfoCamere, the University of Padua, the Brindisi-Taranto Chamber of Commerce, and Assobenefit. Beyond the increase in numbers, their employment impact is also growing: in 2025, Benefit Corporations employ approximately 241,000 people, up by more than 11% compared to 217,000 in the previous year, confirming the steady consolidation of this model within the Italian business landscape.
