Tourism: Short-term rental businesses up 42% in 5 years.

Rome, December 29, 2025–Fewer traditional hotels, many more short-stay accommodations, and a restaurant sector that, despite mixed results, continues to withstand the impact of change. This is the picture emerging from the Unioncamere-InfoCamere analysis of accommodation and food service activities over the past five years.
